Happy New Year to all our pards.
Some quick news:
The Savaged version of Buckshots: For Whom the Bugle Blows is now in what that Silent Keesler feller calls final layout. I reckon you'll see that available within the next moon.
Also, the Dog House Gang is having a sale to ring in the new year, starting around January 8th, with a few products available for 50% off and one of our silver dollar specials. More details as soon as we get everything set up with our vendor pards.

Now that the November Silver Dollar Days sale is over (a hearty thanks to all our pards who made purchases), I figured I should pass along some news.
The Dog House Gang has a couple of irons in the fire, presently. First, we're nearly done converting another Buckshots adventure for the Savage Worlds system. I can't make any guarantees, but we figure to release a Savaged version of Buckshots: For Whom the Bugle Blows early in 2010.
Meanwhile, that scientist feller Hindman and yours truly have completed the writing and editing of a new Buckshots adventure, titled Hidden Canyon. We have all the original artwork in hand (by the incomparable Manoel Magalhães); now we'll need to wrangle the maps and get everything in apple-pie-order over the next month or two. I'll bend your ear more about this new product after the holiday season, but I'll say this: we're plannin' to release this adventure in both OGL and Savaged versions.

DHR Releases Savaged Wild West Adventure |
|
The Dog House Gang is right pleased to announce the release of the Savaged version of Buckshots: Johnny Comes Marching Home. With statistics for the Savage Worlds system, this introductory mini-adventure can jump start a Wild West game, or do a bang-up job as a one-time shoot ‘em up.
Now, usually, we like to whet your appetite by providin’ a short synopsis of the contents. In this case, if we serve up much more than a nibble, well, we’d be givin’ away the farm, so to speak. So iffin’ you don’t mind, we’ll just say that our heroes are returning home after an extended absence (the War as it were), but they must meet one more challenge before they can rest their weary bones.
This 44-page product features five full scenes, maps and combat sheets for all the Wildcards, Extras and Allies, as well as full character sheets and original artwork for five crucial cowpokes. Throw in a new Hindrance, battlemats and some western spice and this adventure designed for 4-8 characters of Novice rank ought to fit the bill.

P.S. I’ll invite you to take a gander at the Savaged Johnny preview or visit one of our vendor pards.

DHR Bundles the Frontier Towns Trilogy |
|
The Dog House Gang has released a new bundle with all three volumes of the ENnie-nominated FRONTIER TOWNS: FORT GRIFFIN, at a special price.
The FORT GRIFFIN TRILOGY combines all three popular volumes into one purchase, givin’ a Judge a well-stocked town of 17 fully-described establishments, with more than 90 fully-described NPCs (including historical figures such as Doc Holliday, John Henry Selman and "Big Nose" Kate) and a total of 115 adventure hooks.
It’s a perfect setting for a Judge lookin’ to start a Wild West game. Fort Griffin can serve as a base of operations, or an interestin’ refuge for cowpokes traveling on the frontier. The trilogy comes with statistics for Sidewinder: Recoiled, but the more than 170 pages are packed with content suitable for any Western game.

P.S. I reckon I forgot to mention that the FORT GRIFFIN TRILOGY sells for $15.75.

The Dog House Gang Gets Savaged! |
|
In an effort to jump on the band-wagon—er, make that to expand our horizons—Dog House Rules is pleased to announce plans to get downright Savaged!
That’s right, as fans of the Savage Worlds system we’re fixin’ to convert some of our existing products and try our hand at makin’ some original Savage products. The fine folks at Pinnacle Entertainment Group have been kind enough to grant DHR licensing rights and we aim to do ‘em proud.
Now, while we’re not known for speedy turnaround, things are already in the works. Our first project is convertin’ our recently released fantasy product, Quick Quests: Eggscellent Adventure. And we reckon it’s right natural to convert some of our Wild West materials, too.
We’ll pass along more news as things develop. That’s a promise.
